Is God's Word Changeable or Disposable?

In today's world where so many things are disposable and of little value, it is easy to apply this mindset to things that are of value. Sadly, many today treat God's word as something that can be changed to fit the times or acceptable to dispose of parts or all of it. But can we logically come to these conclusions based on what The Word says?
