The Job Description of The Christian

With many secular jobs in life, the jobs we do don't quite match the job description of the position that we were given ahead of time. But the job description of the Christian is clear with an examination of God's word: engage in structured personal study, live a life for Christ, and be willing to work. Are we working as hard to be obedient to God's word as Satan is in trying to tear us away from the life of a Christian?
