Modern "Not's" In Satan's "Tale"

In Genesis 3 we read that Satan is on the scene. While the scriptures have little to say about where Satan came from, they have much to say about his nature and purposes. In every way, he is completely opposed to God's nature and purposes. So how is this "roaring lion" not easier to identify and avoid? Let's examine the ways Satan deceives us into departing from the truth, often by adding/changing just one word of the truth.
