In this world, there are many distractions that can pull us away from our faith in God. And there may be the temptation for us to handle situations of civil disobedience with the wrong attitude. The examples of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego should serve to remind us that we should never give in to idolatry, nor should we handle situations of civil disobedience in an incorrect manner.
