Things we should not do post sin...the cover up.

Sin always has spiritual consequence...spiritual death. Rm 6:23

What was done wrong to conceal the sin: 

(1 Jn 1:9; Jam 5:16 what David should have done)

2 Sam 11:6-11

1. Concealed his sin under the pretense of help. Real intent was to provide cover for his sin.

2 Sam 11:12-13

2. Hide the sin by corrupting others. 

2 Sam 11:14-25

3. Stoop to outrageous steps of treatury. 

We may not commit murder but our sin could cause others to lose their souls.
