Some perspective on prayer

Lk 11:9-13 ...Ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking.

1. Be patient and persistent.  Lk 18:1-8 
2. Examine our motive.  James 4:3
3. Trust that He knows what's good better than I do. James 1:17
4. Trust that God knows what I need better than I do. 2 Cor 12:7-10
5. When God says no, understand it may be against or contradict His Will. 1 Jn 5:14; Mt 6:10
6. When God says no, I may not be who  or what I should be and don't have the privilege to ask. Jn 15:7-11; 1 Pet 3:10-12
