Lovers of Self Vs Lovers of Christ

Men will be lovers of self (v2)

2 Tim 3:1-5 

Under Satan's Influence and guidance, we have taught ourselves and our children to be: (according to society)

• Self-confident, when we should be Christ-confident (Eph 3:11-12; Heb 4:16; 13:5-6)
• Self-reliant, when we should be Christ-reliant (2 Cor 12:9-10)
• Self-caring, when we should be God/Christ-caring (1 Pet 5:6-7)
• Self-loving, when we should be God-loving (Mk 12:30)
  • Others-loving (Mk 12:31)

All these things through God's wisdom and word, James 3:13-18 

Please think carefully on these things examining our own lives.
