Praying to an Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent God

The God of the Universe- who is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, doesn't need information from mankind.  He also what we need before we ask (Matt.6:8).  So why should we "pray without ceasing" (Phil.4:17) anyway?  The obvious answer is "Because He said so," but the less-obvious answers may tell us much about both how and why we pray.
