Building On A Good Foundation #5- The Bible

This is the fifth in the 'first Sunday of the month' series on our theme for this year, "Building a Good Foundation."  Previously we've considered  Jesus as the "Chief-Cornerstone," and the apostles and prophets as the "foundation."  But how do we know about either of these these parts of God's "house/building"?  The Bible not only is but has the answers!   As the product of God's inspiration of to the "apostles and prophets," the Bible reveals to all willing to read the mind of God, the sinful state of man, and the salvation offered through Jesus Christ.  It also answers humankind's three most important questions: 1) Origin- From where did I come?  2) Purpose- Why am I here? And, Destiny- Where am I going?  All of which makes "The Bible" an intergal part of "Building on a Good Foundation"!
